an artistic affair

Each time I step

As an artist, when there is something that I’m curious about, I turn my passionate inquiry into creative expression. Women + Masks was born with a question, not an answer: What am I hiding from? What are we, as women, all hiding from?

Witnessing woman after woman choose her mask and step before my lens has been profoundly transformative. With each click of my shutter, the answers are revealed, and I am always left so humbly grateful.

Some hide from secrets. Some from beautiful potential. And while the masks always change, the outcome is always the same: once we finally allow ourselves to actually put a mask on, we can then, bravely, begin to take it off.
