Childhood Unplugged November

What a gift this little project has become for me and my dear boys!  As I wondered what to do for this month's excursion I found another little gem just a short drive from my house, it is incredible what you can find if you just spend a little time looking.  We went and visited Deering Estate the old Florida home of Charles Deering in the 1020s on 444 acres that has become a environmental, archeological and historical preserve.  We brought snacks and ate them while playing on the grass overlooking the ocean before wondering the property and old homes.  It was an adventurous afternoon filled with knights, a few glorious battles, and a whole lot of fun!  Visit CHILDHOOD UNPLUGGED to see all the other photographers' experiences and captures!
