Painting Mad: a virtual shoot with Audrey Blake

image 5.JPG

I was having a rough week, paying attention to negativity that I should have been drowning out. The answer is always to immerse myself in a creative exercise. To do something that allows me to throw my emotions into art and then move on. I had a large canvas of a mop painting gone wrong that I had sitting in my space ready to try something new with.

It had been a while since I did a virtual shoot with Audrey Blake and we had discussed trying to photograph one of my creative experiments so I called her up and asked if she was free. That afternoon my dear friend Audrey remotely photographed the entire experience while supporting me through it all. It was more that I had hoped it would be and I love the images that came from it.
